1. What exactly is a "personalized book"?
In our wonderful stories, your child is the main character in his or her own adventure. Each book has your child’s name, age, hometown and (in most of the books) one to three friends. In addition, a special dedication from you is included. Children are delighted to read their own story and will want to read it again and again.

2. What information is needed to produce a personalized book?
When you add a book to the shopping cart, our website will prompt you for all the necessary information. For most books, we'll need to know the child's gender, first and last names, hometown, and the names of 1 to 3 friends. There are some titles that require more information (such as birthdate for the birthday books). You may also give us optional information such as age, middle name and the name the child is called (such as a nickname). If we have questions, we'll contact you to confirm your order prior to production.

3. Will you share my information with anyone else?
No! We value your privacy and that of the children for whom you are purchasing books. We will only use the information you provide us to fulfill your order. Occasionally, we will email you information about our new products and specials. You may opt out of these by emailing us with “unsubscribe” in the subject line.

4. Do I have to pay sales tax?
Sales tax is already included in the cost of our books. The only additional cost is the postage.

5. Is each book hardbound?
Yes, our books are quality hard cover books, with a wipeclean film laminated surface on each one.

6. Can I supply my own picture pages for the book?
All the illustrations have been pre-printed by a professional printing company for permanent full color pages. Create-A-Book books are keepsakes and will last a lifetime.

7. I have a niece who received a Create-A-Book book twenty years ago. Is this the same Create-A-Book company?

8. Can a personalized book be made for more than one person?
No. There can only be one star in each book.

9. How long will it take for me to get my order?
We pride ourselves in having a very short turn-around time. Most orders are completed and mailed within 48 hours of receiving them. If, however, orders are not completed correctly and we have to contact a customer to get correct information, this impacts the delivery time. If for any reason we experience a delay in processing your order, we will advise you by phone or email.

Most of the items that we sell are personalized items. However, recently we have been marketing non-personalized items in our BARGAIN CENTRE section.
